How to find the serial number on an MCZ product

A serial number (S/N) is a 13-digit code associated with each MCZ product leaving the factory.

The first two digits indicate the year of production, whereas the following digits identify the product unequivocally.

You will need the serial number for product registration and to activate the warranty as well as any time service is required.

The serial number (S/N) of a product is indicated on an adhesive label applied onto the first and last page of the Warranty Certificate.

The Warranty Certificate is always provided with the product at the time of purchase.

Pellet stoves

In the case of pellet stoves, the label with the serial number (S/N) can be found inside the pellet hopper, on the left.

For pellet stoves with Maestro operating system, the serial number (S/N) can also be found on the label of the QR activation code of the app, which is affixed inside the pellet door, on the left.

Fireplaces and inserts

In the case of fireplaces and inserts, the label is applied on the right side, but it is only visible before installation.

Once the fireplace or insert has been assembled, we recommend checking the serial number in the Warranty Certificate.

In any case, for all products, the label with the serial number (S/N) is also on the outside of the cardboard box.
