WALL-MOUNTED PELLET STOVES: HOW THEY ARE MADE

the pleasure of fire, the elegance of design, and the convenience of pellets

The pellet stove is an eco-friendly, low environmental impact alternative to heat your home and save on energy bills. However, not all stoves are created equal, and choosing the right one can often be confusing. Think about wall-mounted pellet stoves: how many models are available on the market? And which ones are right for you? Let’s find out together.

When we talk about wall-mounted pellet stoves, we mean:

  • Slim pellet stoves, to be placed against a wall, for example in a hallway, to reduce space usage and heat the environment
  • Built-in wall pellet stoves that are elevated from the floor as if they were part of the wall itself, better known as pellet fireplaces
  • Pellet inserts to breathe new life into an old fireplace, making use of existing space and flue

Slim and compact pellet stoves

Slim pellet stoves are shallow heaters that take up about the same space as a radiator. They can be installed as close as 5 cm from the wall, ensuring minimal bulk. They’re ideal for hallways or tight spaces where every centimeter counts.

In the image above, we present a very special slim stove, the Philo 14 by MCZ. This stove allows you to manually adjust the direction of the heat coming from the front. Two knobs, hidden inside the top door, let you set the airflow direction to the left or right, while a third rear fan can be ducted to direct heat to other rooms, even on different floors of the house.

Eiko is a natural convection pellet stove with low power output, ideal for tight spaces. Thanks to its compact size compared to traditional models and the ability to install it very close to the wall, it takes up very little space overall.

Feel is a ducted pellet stove specifically designed to deliver top performance even in small spaces. It features innovative Core combustion technology that offers unmatched market performance in terms of environmental sustainability, convenience, and aesthetics. Available with rear or top flue outlet (UP! version). With a reduced depth (43.2 cm), it can be easily installed in hallways or small rooms, even flush against the wall.

Pellet fireplaces

Pellet thermofireplaces let you enjoy the beauty of the flame while benefiting from all the conveniences of technology—such as programmability. The visual effect is stunning because you can design the surround to match your home’s style.

Vivo90Hydro

Vivo 90 Hydro is a pellet fireplace with a minimal and elegant design, featuring a glass front door. Warm air flows through the grill integrated into the door, providing a comfortable feeling to the entire room and its occupants.

The standout feature of this fireplace is that it can also produce hot water for your existing heating system, like radiators or underfloor heating. It functions just like a hydro-stove, connected to the plumbing system to replace or supplement the boiler.

The fireplace can be customized with special front panels in different shapes, colors, and materials. Stainless steel, painted, brushed, or rust-treated for a modern look, or natural stone, marble, or decorated ceramic for a more classic style. The surrounds can frame the firebox, turning the fireplace into a real design feature.

Pellet inserts

Among the wall-mounted pellet stoves we also include inserts, which can be installed inside an existing non-working fireplace opening. These cast iron monoblocks are easy to install and are ideal if you want to reuse an existing flue and recreate the cozy feel of a fire.

In many insert models, like QBox 70, loading pellets is as simple as opening the drawer above the firebox.

Perfect for replacing an inefficient or non-functional fireplace, but also great for new installations, as it’s quick and easy to install without major home renovation work.

Here we’ve mainly discussed aesthetics and space. However, when choosing a pellet stove for your home, there are also other factors to consider: system power, heating needs, whether a flue is available, and your home’s insulation level.
