Ducted pellet stove, 14 kW, shallow structure for space-saving installation

Shallow ductable pellet stove (39,6 cm deep) and 14 kW of power, particularly suitable for small spaces. Philo has been for years among the top seller pellet stoves. Now it has been redesigned according to the new MCZ technological standard: hermetic structure, high yield, low emissions and a wider flame for a dazzling effect. Compared to other stoves with reduced depth, Philo has a particularly large pellet hopper holding about 30 litres, which equals about a day of continuous operation.

Heat that goes a long way

This is a ducted stove, which allows several rooms to be heated simultaneously. The hot air produced by the stove is transported to other rooms in the house through wall pipes. With the Comfort Air® system, patented by MCZ, the air can reach a distance of up to 8 metres and guarantees an outlet temperature of up to 80°C. To complete the Comfort Air kit, MCZ proposes particularly neat and minimalist diffusers, designed for those who love detail even in the diffusion of heat. Unlike traditional systems in which the air outlets must be positioned at the top, MCZ diffusers can be installed freely, wherever you are most comfortable, even close to the floor.

Convey heat exactly where you want

The most appreciated feature of the “old” Philo has been preserved in the wholly new design: the option to adjust the front air flows in several directions. Open the door on the top to access two knobs, one on the left side and one on the right side, to adjust the heat flow direction as you wish. The stove has three fans: one is dedicated to the room ventilation, two fans can be ducted to heat several rooms, even if not adjacent or on different floors of the home.

Even more beautiful view of the flame

The combustion chamber is brand new, larger and more proportionate, to offer an even more breathtaking view of the fire. The height and depth of the firebox have been increased, ensuring vertical development and a more natural movement of the flame. The firebox and crucible have been cleaned also and their shape softened for an enjoyable viewing experience, even when the flame is out.

Ignition speed

Thanks to a new ceramic spark plug, the flame appears in less than three minutes, with a 40% reduction in ignition times and a significant cut in electrical consumption.

Cleaning autonomy

In this product, the capacity of the ash drawers has been brought to almost 5 litres and the capacity of the compartments to more than 8 litres, which are equal to about one week of stove operation without emptying (average power consumption, 8 hours/day operation).

“Brushless” gear motor

The new patented “brushless” gear motor has been made exclusively for MCZ and it is used in the pellet loading feed screw and in the automatic brazier cleaning system. Compared to traditional gear motors, it is more powerful, more noiseless and less energy-hungry (electric consumption reduced by 90% compared to conventional motors).

Sealed structure as standard

Thanks to a perfectly sealed combustion chamber, this product uses up the oxygen taken exclusively from the outside, ensuring reduced consumption and perfect thermal comfort in modern homes, even those with class A energy rating, with no risk of smoke emissions in the room.

Maestro+

Advanced control via Wi-Fi with digital panel included as standard

Thanks to Maestro+ technology, the stove can be controlled directly from a smartphone, via a specific App, which provides full control either at home or away, by connecting via the home internet network (router) or directly via Bluetooth. An innovative retractable digital control panel fitted on the top is also available as standard.
