Small and Beautiful Pellet Stoves

Photos and Inspirations for Compact Stoves with a Strong Aesthetic Impact

Perfect for apartments, but not only, small pellet stoves are a winning solution in many situations. Here, we present a curated selection of the best models, complete with photos and useful tips.

SMALL AND COMPACT STOVES, IDEAL FOR EXISTING FIREPLACES

The most popular type of small stoves are those 80 and 90 cm high. These are compact models, typically with a power output of no more than 8 kW and a pellet tank of limited size. Simply put, these stoves are not suitable for heating particularly large rooms or for long-lasting use.

However, they are the perfect choice in the following cases:

  • If you only need to heat a single room or a small basement;
  • If you want a non-intrusive and elegantly designed piece in your home;
  • If you want to make use of the space left by an old, unused fireplace: this is a popular solution in England and Nordic countries; a stove is placed in the fireplace recess and connected to the existing chimney flue.

Examples, Photos, and Models of Small Stoves

Below, you'll find some model suggestions and installation examples to inspire and guide your choice.

The Decò stove by MCZ is entirely made of cast iron. It features a convenient removable pellet door, making it easier to load fuel.

The Cute stove by MCZ has a black painted steel finish, while the door is made of cast iron.

The Tecla stove features a very linear design and a sealed structure. Ventilated with 6kW of power and 90 cm in height, it has a cast iron top and painted steel sides (available in Bordeaux, White, Dark, and Silver).

The Alyssa stove, only 90 cm tall, is ideal for small spaces. It has a cast iron top and ceramic sides (available in Bordeaux, White, and Warm Grey).

This photo was taken at the home of interior designer Alessandra Monti, in Blessagno (Como). Alessandra chose this model for its perfect dimensions to fit the niche where an old ceramic wood stove previously stood. Discover the project details here.

The living room in the photo belongs to the extension of an old Breton house designed by architect Tristan Brisard. Thanks to perfect insulation and the application of bio-architecture principles, this space is heated exclusively by a small pellet stove.

The photo above was taken in a design studio. The partners decided to opt for a more eco-friendly heating system, and the large open space is heated by two small stoves, which not only provide warmth but also create atmosphere and comfort. You can find more details about the project here.
